During the holiday season I added two more DVDs to the home collection. In Momma Mia, Meryl Streep–accompanied by a delightful cast–was her usual fantastic self. I’ve already watched it a handful of times because it was so much fun. And Helen Mirren was absolutely pitch perfect in The Queen. This fascinating movie also had an excellent cast.

When I sat down to write this post, I had no idea what I was going to say. My thoughts inevitably turned to my writing and how old habits die hard. There are times when I tend to over think details, which in turn, can stall my progress. It’s a distraction to be sure, and one I do constant battle with.
What’s one of your biggest writing distractions?
