Delicious

November 28, 2008

I love me some pizza. Over the past few months, whenever I’ve ordered cheese pie I’ve ordered it with bacon and pepperoni toppings. It’s my new favorite! :cheer: Much to my surprise, the grocery store has boxes of mini pizzas with that exact topping combination. I had some for supper the other night and the cheesy goodness did not disappoint. :flying:

The New Winter Landscape

November 25, 2008

We had our first big snowstorm of the season last night and we’re supposed to get even more snow today. :snowman: Of course I have a fresh stash of hot chocolate in the cupboard and the Amazon shipment I was waiting for arrived a few days ago.

There’s something so appealing about seeing the new winter landscape when I look out the window. :woohoo:

Christmas Lights & Powdered Doughnuts

November 21, 2008

I *heart* Christmas lights, so I was thrilled to see some up in my neighborhood when I took Oscar (my woofie) for a walk last night. While there were still tons of leaves on the ground, the frost in the air made the grass quite crunchy and the smattering of light snow here and there reminded me of powdered doughnuts.

Have a great weekend, everyone! :lights:

Twilight

November 18, 2008

I’ve wanted to read Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series for a while now, and I finally ordered Twilight, book one in the series, through Amazon this past weekend. In light of the fact that the movie for Twilight opens this Friday, here’s the awesome movie trailer:

What Board Game Are You?

November 10, 2008

You Are Boggle

You are an incredibly creative and resourceful person.
You’re able to dig deep and think outside the box to get things done.
You are a non linear thinker. You don’t like following directions
You draw your inspiration from the strangest places sometimes. You’re constantly inspired.
What Board Game Are You?

As Thick As Pea Soup

November 7, 2008

There’s been a thick fog to start the morning for the last two days. It’s pretty cool to look out the window and have the view resemble a scene from a movie. What’s more surprising is that this fog seems to linger for half the day before dissipating. Taking Oscar (my dog) for his morning walk in this weather has been great for spurring the imagination. :bubble:

Brainstorming

November 3, 2008

Lately, I’ve been brainstorming for a new project and it’s been a lot of fun. :autumn: I love how when an idea starts to take shape, flashes of inspiration often pop up out of nowhere. This happened twice the other day, first when I did the dishes, then a little while later when I took the dog for a walk.
