Bugs!
What is my biggest pet peeve about summer? Bugs! I’m of the belief that if they keep their distance, we can peacefully coexist. This thinking goes out the proverbial window, however, when they dive-bomb my face, fly into my ears, or most egregiously, attempt to zoom up my nose.
This summer has been particularly bad, and I would venture to guess that the humid weather and higher than usual number of thunderstorms has something to do with it. I’ve lost count of how many times I took my woofie for a walk, only to keep my mouth closed while I swatted at the many black flies that buzzed about my face.
Not fun.
I’m SO ready for it to be fall!

Whether it’s winter or summer, it’s always appointment television for me. One of the great things about the Summer Olympics is the number of events. From swimming, gymnastics, diving, track and field, and pretty much the entire Olympic roster, there’s usually something exciting to watch. And the coverage is practically 24/7 because of the time difference with Beijing. Even better, it’s only the end of week one!

He’s an amazing dancer and was my favorite right from the get go!
